Here we are on vacation in Palm Beach, Florida. Since the highs are in the 50's, we've chosen the zoo over the beach. Here's our little crew on the merry-go-round. From left to right: Caleb, Tyson, Karisa, Benson, me, Chase. (Oliver and John have already gone back to colder places to do work for school.)
Benson and Chase had a blast at the zoo. After checking out the bears, monkeys, and panthers, we sat down to a leisurely lunch, only to find that a flock of exotic, long-beaked birds was trying to snatch our food. One of the birds (maybe a crane?) stole Karisa's chicken nugget from right in front of her. Is a bird eating another bird a form of cannibalism? It was ugly, either way. The boys loved defending their food. Benson and Charles Freddy chased the birds around until they flew away. Caleb shouted, "GET LOST!" and "BE GONE!" High entertainment.

Love the updates. I was laughing out loud at the Christmas morning Grinch surprise. Bill and I agree that Chase looks so big! He is looking more and more like Caleb. The Harry Potter costuming was fabulous. We can't wait to spend more time with you guys in 2010! Love you :)
Im very excited to check your blog every couple of days and see some new updates! The boys are so big! We miss you guys and can't wait to use our Christmas present to come out and visit!
