Chase turns three!

Chase is on to a bigger and better age! He knows that when he's three, he'll go to forest school and use the potty, and he reminds us every day about those things. Here he is at the playground on his third birthday.

A few friends came to join us at the playground to enjoy some cake.
Chase picked out this owl cake from a magazine and said he wanted me to make it for his birthday. It actually wasn't that hard. But transporting it to the party was very tricky with all of the Boston potholes.

But in the end, the owl and the owlets made it just fine.

And the kids ate pretty much everything. Chase had a great day and he didn't care that it was 50 degrees and windy outside. Neither did any of his friends! Parents were another story.
The next few blog posts, down to the one about "Savannah" are my attempts to record everything picture-worthy that happened this Spring.

That owl cake made up of cupcakes is adorable. The birthday cakes you make for your kids, Elise, are always off-the-charts!

We get that same Family Fun magazine! I was wondering why that owl cake looked so familiar.

Very cute. We loved the owl cake, too. Hope potty training is a great success!
