Caleb has been waiting in anguish for his sixth birthday since he was three. This is because we told him he had to be six to watch Star Wars. Well, May 17, 2011 finally came and Caleb invited his friend Niel over to watch Episode 1 with him. Right before Niel came over, we opened presents and Caleb got excited about a Ninjago lego set from the other Neil--Opa.
So our birthday plans changed very quickly.
Caleb and Niel almost put the entire set together that afternoon.
That's not to say that Caleb forgot about Episode 1. He watched it later with Daddy. Here's a shot of the two of them watching the opening scenes. How sweet it is to be six!! Delayed gratification at its best. Happy birthday, Cabey!
